exchange for promptly, a moment ago a save-the-date announcement: we are planning a half-day seminar on online advertising deals in nyc, on june 3th, co-locating the seminar with the bigger advertising 2.0 conference being organized by digital hollywood (on june 4th and 5th).
Our seminar, titled Economics of Online Advertising Deals (EconAds, for short), will focus on the venture capital, private equity and M&A activity in the online advertising sectors. The digital advertising market has been undergoing lots of changes, and a lot of money is still flowing through the startups and bigger companies in the space. Two of the biggest online M&A deals–DoubleClick and Aquantive–have happened in the online ad sector.
