WSU to women’s announce coach
Wichita State will announce its new women’s basketball coach at a new conference scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today at Koch Arena.
One possible choice is Murray State coach Jody Adams, a former assistant at Southern Illinois. Murray State has scheduled a news conference for later this afternoon to address their women’s basketball job.
Officials at Murray State, an NCAA Division I school in Murray, Ky., would not elaborate on the news conference. Adams was not in her office today.
WSU’s next coach will not be Emporia State’s Brandon Schneider. Schneider will coach at Emporia State next season, according to an official in the ESU athletic department.
